dont know if i can say his name, but oh well.

seriously does his system have any depth to it, i have met so many formewr blackbelts that say it sucks and that they wished they had gotten out of it sooner

depends where......my friend joined USSD for a while as his first school. he'd never go back.....now he laughs at them. they are similar to West Coast MA......where exactly are you? there's a place called that right where i live........
either way- you need to be aware of what you want. a newbie generally can't tell the differece between a competition school and a feel-good school. it depedns on what you want. if it's open style- make sure they don't just teach tippy-tappy light punch tequniqes or if they teach you to roll and then jump up as a "scoring technique"- run! make sure you know what you want.

I had no idea Reyes created his own style.I'm not surprised come to think of it.His school is part of the Sport-Karate and XMA associations.Do you know how many Senior-Grand Masters there are in those at every tournament?Lots.I'd say every team is run by a Soke , kaicho, or just plain old Senior-Grand-Master.

    Its bullshit run-amok.

13/14 years old and maybe an assistant instructor...Well that makes my 16year cousin a certified master in BITCH-FU-QUAN. The moment one of those kids yelled a kyai at me I would bitch slap him, pick him up by his ankles and shake all the nickels out of flag striped gi. Or if he was as big as Shaquille O'neill at 13 I would be owned.lol
