Poll: How old were you when you started MAs, and how old are you now?

Started at 15, am now 26.
Lots of breaks in my training, as well as time wasters like Wing Chun and Aikido.

I started learning from two books at age 12 (1967). The first was Bruce Tegners Complete book of Karate. The second was Mas Oyama's Karate as Practiced in Japan. Began formally training in 1969 age 12. I am now 50 and still training.

Judo when I was 6, then Aikido and JJJ from 14 onwards with some side trips into Goju ryu Karate and Shorinji Kempo.

I'm not actually any good at any of them.

I'm now 36 but haven't been training for the last year - hoping to start either JJJ or Judo again soon depending on circumstances (and isn't it amazing the amount of weight you can put on if you stop exercising and start eating like a pig?)

i'll ignore the few months of kempo i had as a kid.
i was fifteen when in the summer of grade 9 right before school ended i started tkd.
in janurary when i was in grade 10, i started shindo ju jitsu.
I'm quitting tkd and not planning on ever going back come 3 more days.
I'm really wanting to get my blackbelt in the system of ju jitsu i'm doing, its good stuff.
