    wow, old thread.

    a question for the older guys - after many years of training, how do you find your body is holding up? how are your joints?

    i started TKD at 18, did it for nearly 4 years (god i wish i'd started training MMA at that time...). quit that and did nothing for a year. started BJJ and muay thai. a year or so later started doing some MMA. though i've mostly focused on BJJ since then, striking only when i can manage the time. turn 28 soon.

    Did judo from 17-19. 22 now, thinking about getting back into it. I've gotten into IDPA/IPSC shooting though, which eats up most of my fun money.

    im not that much older then you, 30 in early september.
    but im fucked, my knees are stiff, my lower back has given up, and my nose will never be the same again.
    still got great abs and pecs though.

    rrr..where's a mirror in this damn house?

    my shoulders, knees and neck are feeling it. i'm hoping that i can keep this **** up until at least middle age though.
