    Aikido: the choice of...hm...dalai lama wannabees?
    That civilisation may not sink,
    Its great battle lost,
    Quiet the dog, tether the pony
    To a distant post;
    Our master Caesar is in the tent
    Where the maps are spread,
    His eyes fixed upon nothing,
    A hand under his head.

    Yeah, but was Sean Connery ever cool enough to be in a movie with DMX?
    No, the closest he got was Wesley Snipes.

    I should add to my earlier post, that I hold 2nd Kyu in Aikido, and a yellow (no longer training) in Judo.

    I would take my 2 months of Judo over a year and them some of Aikido in a real fight anyday.

    Well, Judo it is. Until then, more focus on Shotokan. :) Thanks folks. I'll have more topics to bicker over in a bit.

    I´ll just say this: when we do vale tudo training at my MT gym, the only reason I am able to hold my own against the guys who practice BJJ is my former judo training.

    Basically, I fall on top of them and hold their necks for dear life. Groundfighting my ass, not if I can help it.

    Yes, I do realise I should practice BJJ.

    And as we all know James Bond would kick Steven Segal’s ass and then sleep with his woman, or sleep with his woman and then kick his ass…or just let Gene Lebell do it for him while James finishes his baccarat hand…
