TKD Guy Fights MMA and Gets his Stuff RUINED

This is totally going onto my HD to be promptly whipped out whenever some TMA dork thinks he's something special. I began to laugh uncontrollably when the TKD guy began his convulsions and the look of OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG on his face. He's lucky the guy didnt follow up that slam with some GnP like he should have. PLEASE for the love of Christ tell me that this was a bout from MMA's renaissance era and not something recent. Seriously, how could he have been so completely unprepared?

Unfortunately, it is relatively recent (1998). Jeremy Bullock begins and ends his MMA career in this fight against weathered veteran Travis Fulton.

LOL, upon reviewing that vid again I see the TKD guy tried... a .... a..... an.... aerial... sciii.......scissorkick. .... dear lord.

Well if it's any consolation, I think the TKD guy had a better GPA in highschool than the BJJ guy.

I think the MMA guy could lift his opponent so easily just because of the weight difference.

However, he surely was able to escape from the choke, he just used this advantage in a very destructive fashion.

Holy ****... that wasnt a style... that was just brute strength pick up and SLAM... does anyone know how the tkd guy pulled through...??? any spinal damage or whatnot...??

I agree with KOS here.. .the weight made quite a difference... and damn if he didnt use his advantage destructively... good that he was concerned about his opponent though (after owning ihm of course)...

It's a sport so AT LEAST you should concern about your opponent(s) whenever is/are hurt, while the docs do their job.

I´m no expert at grappling, but I didn´t see something impresive, techniqcaly-wise, from the wrestler there.

He just used brite force to smash the TKDist.

And BTW, the TKDist didn´t look that bad. He had his guard up (and for once, I doubt that guard was the appropiate for a NHB fight), and looked skilled. It was nice how he jumped over the wrestler when he first attepmted a takedown.

His headlock didn´t look too good either, but I wonder how he´d manage against a wrestler his size/strenght.

And I wonder also how the wrestler would mange against a tKDer of his size and strenght too. Maybe he just used brute force because he could, maybe he´s not a big shot, technicaly-wise.
