one of the best fighters i've ever seen

Arturo Gatti (boxer) is imo one of the best fighters i have ever seen in any style. he is fast, hits hard, does the right thing at the right time, he's incredibly skilled and beautiful to watch, has a head like a rock, etc.

i downloaded a torrent which was ring magazine fight of the year (2003) and he was in it. he broke his hand and continued fighting with one hand to win. i'd never heard of him before, but i thought he was amazing, so i searched for another fight, and found that he was in the ring magazine fight of the year 2002 as well. so now i have downloaded a third video with him in it, and round three is the round of the year for 1998.

i've only really seen him at his best, i don't know much else about him. but if you can, you have to check out one of his fights.

Great fighter. When talking about the best fights of all time, all three of his matches against Mickey Ward are right up there.

He's got great skills, good power, good speed, he can box, he can brawl, and damn, he's got heart. If you get a chance, make sure and watch him.

He's a bit of a character, and hangs out with characters as well. One of his corner men/trainers used to work in the security field and we would chat once in a while. More than watching his fights, I think I'd rather go out on the town for a night with his crew.

The funny thing, his after three bloody wars against Mickey Ward (lot of heart in that guy too, not quite as much skill, now retired), these guys actually became good friends. You'll see them watching fights together, and Ward helps him train. He generally comes in with Gatti with the rest of his training crew, and sometimes helps in the corner.

he has become just about my favourite fighter ever, and here you are gettin on the turps with his mates.

on a side note, may father was ranked as one of the top boxers in aus (i know that he was at least number 16 at one point), and he knew people like jeff fenech, who is training tyson at the moment. he also met and got to spar with muhammed ali once.
