    clubbells

    Who has tried them ?

    I have 2 of the 10lb clubbells and have been using them for a few months.

    Have been suprised by two things:

    a) How heavy they seem compared to a standard dumbbell.

    b) How much fun they are to use. Seriously these things are addictive, the biggest problem I have is leaving them alone on non-training/recovery days.


    (if you're wondering, clubbells are the only weighted exercises I now do, along with a bodyweight exercise routine)

    I use a 1 pood kettlebell. Love it. Totally intense cardio. It is really helping my endurance in bjj.

    I also hit the gym though to pump up a bit.

    I have a pair of the 15 lbs. clubbells. They are great for stickfighters. I have a 1 pood & 2 1.5-pood kettlebells. I like all of these freaky iron slinging weights for lifting. I'm working on putting together a variable weight sandbag (seabag with duct taped ziploc sandbags) to add to the collection.

    Too bad I'm a lazy **** who hasn't slung any of my bells in a real workout in weeks/months. Ugh, I really hate myself sometimes...

    Yeah, although lately I've gone off doing a lot of hindu squats.
    At the moment, I'm doing the program outlined in Lloyd Irvin's (BJJ blackbelt, grappling coach) bodyweight strength training book.
