Isn't it a bad idea to `cook in' protein powder? I am pretty sure it's a great way to denature the proteins and lose many of their benefits.

I'm also not certain what cooking would do to creatine. It's not precisely inert, so heating it might be a bad idea.

Moreover, mixed with fruit juice, creatine promotes formation of the metabolic waste product creatinine, which stresses the kidneys. It also has been linked to muscle cramps, strains and pulls as well as diarrhea...
    Also:
For example, 2-3 pounds of raw meat or fish contain the equivalent of 5 grams of pure creatine monohydrate powder (see Question #7). Since heat degrades creatine, however, cooking will reduce their creatine content and increase the amount you'll need to eat to obtain a given amount of creatine.

Therefore take Kre-alkalyn. Prevents conversion to Creatinine and doesn't denature in stomach acids. Also, if you're getting cramps from Creatine, you're not hydrated enough.

Dude! You need greens! Eat celery, spinach or a couple of salads every day.

Maybe I've got the California advantage, but fresh fruits and vegetables are CHEAP. Get yourself some kale and apples.
