Torn gastrocnemieus

popped my calf muscle a bit in class last night. :icon_chee

has anyone here had to deal with this injury before?

Doc says it should take about 3 months to heal thoroughly.

Can't say I had that type of injury before, but I did catch my gastrochnemous on an old rusty car bumper while skateboarding. It bled like a bitch.

well now that i have all this free time on my hands,i figure i'll jerk myself back in time and try to warn myself how not to break a fall no matter how unclean the throw.

we were working a basic hip throw and on one throw my drill partner didnt really have good technique--I really still don't know exactly how it happened, just that I foolishly tried to reach for the ground with my leg instead of going with the throw even though it wasn't "technically correct."

ugh dude. guess that required some stitches an a tetinous shot.
