    Hell yeah! Hell no!
I'm not going to sit and argue this point, but if you think that a deadlift will build the antagonist muscles to the bench press that cause these imbalances, then you are misinformed.

Chins - to pull ourselves up, to show off to our ***** friends
DL - To lift anything from the floor
Overhead press - TO lift the cat and throw him out of the window
Bench press - to push a some ladies stalled car and get her number
Curls - To lift the grocery bags and hole our brat while shopping.

    Did I miss anything ?
I fail to see what you're complaining about now...

Just an observation but AthleticGirl, you seem to complain a lot.

I think she was refering to this comment of mine:

    " Powerlifters do 3 events:
    Squat
    Bench
    Deadlift.

If anyone is gonna get shoulder imbalances and/or problems, its olympic lifters. "

But if you actually read that post, you will see that what I am saying is that Olympic lifters are more prone to "shoulder imbalances" than powerlifters.
Olympic lifts use very little frontal delts, compared to the powerlift bench press.
NOT that DL off-set the delt development of Bench presses.

Considering you recommended chins beforehand, though, I don't see where she still finds a problem.
