    I'd like to know how people here with a moderate to severe curvature of the spine are able to pursue martial arts training without their back going out on them all the time...

    it sounds like you have your head screwed on right if you know to nurse the injury while training. I think the slightly out dated saying of "NO PAIN NO GAIN" has to maybe specify sort of pain it means.As some aggrivated pain can hurt long term if not treated right.there over ways to train rather than one on one with a sparring partner,who can push you more than your injury can take.eg.walking,running,pushbike.You don't want an old MA injuring stuffing up boxing pay day if your any good.
