I don't know if anything about this was posted before, but I just saw this movie for the first time today, I found it quite interesting due to the effects of this guy's month long McD's only diet. I couldn't tell you the exact problems, but I recall him having liver problems and his blood cholesterol skyrocketed (I guess that closes the case on dietary cholesterol having little to do with blood cholesterol), a lethargic and depressed demeanor, and an overall fear of for his health and well being by himself, the doctors, and his friends and family.
This really gets you thinking about how bad not only fast food is for you, but all these processed foods and refined sugars in foods and soft drinks.
I was surprised about how much of an effect it had on his personal life, mood, and sexual function.
A great quote from a PT on the movie:
"America never had health care, we have sick care."
I worked at a McDonald's for 8 months. I don't need some fucking documentary to tell me that I'm going to die if I only eat their food.
I fail to understand why people bother to eat at McDonald´s when they could get their junk food at Burger King. Burger King pwns McDonald´s any day of the week.
Yeah, it has nothing to do with the subject of this thread, but it needed saying.
The conquistador is right.
McDonald's doesn't use much in the way of bacon.
Does anyone else live near an In-n-Out? That's fast food I'd be happy to kill myself with.

the reason why it was mcdonalds was because of a previous court case where it was argued that eating mcdonalds as part of a diet wasn't that bad for you, or something along those lines. plus mcdonalds is the big one when it comes to american fast food going international.
Ah, yes, McDonalds is more known, to the point that it´s the epitome of junk food all around the world.
Still, and despite the -rep I got ;), Burger King food tastes much better, if you ask me. When it comes down to how much bad is for you one over the other, I don´t think there is a significative difference. I guess that if Supersize me! was made with BK, the redults would be exactly the same.
