Ask around to hear one of Bas' cab stories from Japan. The man is tough as nails, trust me. Basically, every time he goes to Japan, he gets hit by a cab because the bars lead out right into the street. My old kenpo teacher (who used to arrange all the kickboxing and MMA fights out in Okinawa, Eddie Erazo if anyone knows him) told me that and I didn't believe it until we were out in Osaka for Pride 17. We were staying at the Tokyo Hilton where all the other fighters were, and they came walking Bas in at about 3am because he had been hit by a taxi cab. He rolled over the sucker and hit the ground with "the sound your shoe makes on a gym floor", as Amir Rahnavardi put it. The driver got out to see if he was OK and Bas popped up and started kicking and punching the back of the cab. The driver drove off, Bas went back inside for another drink and eventually had to be convinced to go back to the hotel. He was fine the next day and still got to watch Amir fight. Now THAT's tough.

True story or not, just referring to "Omar" as if everyone should know, is funny.Fighting evil and upholding justice in blue silk pajamas baby!
