If I go here, I'd probably take Kyokushin over BJJ (I don't know, I like hitting arts I guess), but I'm looking at taking MT over Kyokushin over BJJ over everything else.

Website's under construction, but I like the sound of a gym over a "dojo", simply because gym sort of hints at a cheaper price (I know, it's a really stupid reason). I'll more than likely e-mail or call soon to set up another visit after I finish my visits to Warrior Way (can't afford) and hopefully Michigan Martial Arts.

This site seems a tad shady. Meditation, and no clearly defined classes or what they teach. That and a $110 dollar/mo fee seems to make this one a bad choice. But I guess the instructors are pretty dece...dunno.

They teach Kyokushu there, not Kyokushin. An understandable mistake, but you'd be very disapointed if you went in thinking you were going to learn kyokushin, and then spent your whole time working bjj with a few strikes.

I used to live in south-eastern Michigan. I've heard good things about the school and I saw a few fo there guys fight in matches. They're pretty good. There used to be a Muay Thai/San Shou gym in detroit as well, but I'm not sure that they are still there. From what I've heard the Kali Academey is pretty good too.
