    Hell yeah! Hell no!

Lonely, Asian Gosu seeks training partner in Davis, CA, and a possible Throwdown

Didn't really know where to throw this up, but I figured there's plenty of people in my area, and none of the other forums seemed to fit this kind of topic, since there's no real goonmeet type forum. What I'm looking for is an extremely driven training partner, to help in my training of course. Must be willing to dedicate time in the weight room, help drive with conditioning, and sparring.

As for me, I'm 6'0", 165lbs, and am a current student at UCDavis in California. I have trained before in KaShin (a style of japanese kenpo/katana, my emphasis), Kendo, Kung Fu both Northern Shaolin, Choy Lay, (these two take up the bulk of my training time nowadays) and for the fun of it, WuShu, and finally, Muay Thai. Currently studying: Jeet Kune Do philosophies, so that I can piece together everything I know, and WuShu because I love kung fu movies. Current ambitions: to define my fighting style and possibly create my own.

I am 22 years old, have been training since I was eight, and since I have opted out of all the schools in my area since none of them I feel can offer me as much. At this point in my life, I'm looking more to refine and practice and train, more than learn. So if you're interested, let me know. I keep a really strict regiment, fyi, which consists of a lot of conditioning and stretching in addition to other methods. Not that I'm saying I'm stronger than you, because I'm not (I bench 120 :D), but it's more the drive and devotion I'm looking for in a training partner. If you're not willing to attempt six days out of seven of training, please don't bother.

Also, I would be willing to host a Davis throwdown. Let me just work a few things out, and I will update this thread with it.

Tough is not how you act, tough is how you train.
