unknown to the rest of you, D_Vo and myself were having a 'who can get their hands lowest and keep them there' competition. I was doing pretty well I have to say. Mind you we weren't punching to the head on that occasion.

You guys looked good, one of the better matches I've seen so far (haven't seen too many yet though ;)). Good control, not out to kill each other but don't mind giving out a few lumps. Some great stuff in there (nice hip throw btw), good ground control on both parties for the most part. Grant definitely had the size advantage which shows when he outmuscles Charmin on several occasions, but overall, good stuff guys

Charmin, it looks like you had a kneebar or heel hook around 3:20. Try googling these techniques and learning about applying them from the half-guard (well it wasn't technically a half-guard, but close enough).

Grant, as for your triangle, here are my thoughts. From what I've learned of the triangle from mount, you need to not only grab the head but also pull it towards you such that you have enough space to put a leg underneath. From there you can figure-four your legs assuming you have the arm already - but it's not absolutely necessary. You just kind of flopped to the side and did not commit to the triangle. You probably already know this but from the way charmin was positioned an armbar would've been more practical than a triangle.

This fight was terrible, only kids fight like that and everyone knows it.
You people sit on each others dicks, that was even gayer!
You people seriously should learn how to fight, this is true bullSHIT!

This wasn't a throwdown, hence us not going all out for the 'fists' just a bunch of people having a get together and doing some fairly light sparring. Nothing too serious. Please don't be under the misapprehention that this is us 'all out' it most definately is not.

I couldnt care less, i've seen just too many fights like that, even non friendly fights.
And especially sitting on each others dicks, this is so fucking GAY!
Im sick and tired of all this bullshit, if you're going to insult others people, learn how to, learn the real flaws. When you cant see your own flaw, you're just being a jerk.
Would you grapple someone twice your size who trained street fighting?
