How much are you training?
How has your appetite changed?
What external factors that may cause stress do you have?
Have you ever had 'bouts' with depression before? (Don't need to answer this.)
Could just be the winter blahs, or most of the time in my case, just overtraining and not enough rest days.Surfing Facebook at work? Spread the good word by adding us on Facebook today! https://www.facebook.com/Bullshido -

Depending on how you are training, it could just be severe overtraining, which it sounds like it could be.
My boyfriend just took a week off from doing anything before he starts training for his next fight which is about 8 weeks away. The last day he lifted weights was March 18 and he just lifted today for the first time since then. Before he was having trouble increasing either his reps or the weight on his exercises and was feeling a lack of motivation about his workouts. Today he said he increased the reps (with the same weight) on all of his exercises by 3-5, and felt pretty good. This is case of mild overtraining, which is where you want to catch it, before it gets to the point you are possibly at right now. -

TKD 7:30 - 9:30 Mondays and tuedays, and an hour and a half on saturdays.
Ju jitsu 1-2 hours 2 times every week.
and my paper route which is 2 times every week and takes 2 hours each time.
No other jobs besides my paper route. so thats about it for physical activity besides bag work everyonce in awhile. so all together? 10-12 hours of training a week.
I'd like to add that i'm failing grade 11 math (oh well i'm only in grade 10).
when I did wrestling it was 13-16ish hours a week.
I'm starting wrestling once wrestling season starts again (Next winter),
has my apetite changed? - Yes I have been EXTREMELY HUNGRY lately.
what external factors for stress do I have - school!!!, parents, friends (alot of friends I have put alot of stress on me), all my training puts physical stress on me, My thoughts on the future..if i'll even have one.
have I had bouts with depression? - Yeah, but lately it doesn't seem to bother me as much, probably because I'm too busy to notice it and socially my life has been doing better.(BTW, I don't really care about saying I have it, I don't preach about it but I could care less, other people have it alot worse than me)
do I have mono? Maybe. My friend had mono earlier this year and I grapple with him often and do bag work with him sometimes and clinch drills. havn't been too sore muscle wise. Have had extremely mild headaches but attributed it to my slight tmjd (its around there). I need alot of sleep, and even my max amount of sleep I can get isn't enough.
Please post feed back as i want to be energetic but IN GREAT shape again.
P.S My knees have been hurting latelyLast edited by FighterJones; 4/02/2005 11:53pm at .
