    Actually the Kwans were not the style, they were the names of the school. No one in the 50's and 60's went around saying I study Jidokwan. They would say there were from the Jidokwan or the Chungdokwan or Ohdokwan (kwan=school) They studied kong soo do, yudo, kumdo. The style name of Tang Soo Do was used with Lee, Won-kuk who disposed of it and allowed Whang Ki to use it for his Moo Duk Kwan school.
