Hardcore Muay Thai training

i dont really have any background info on the tape, and it says it is kung fu. but i think it looks a lot like muay thai.

Wrong on both counts. Not kung fu. Not Muay thai.

This thread came up on KFO a few weeks ago and someone ID's the guy as actually one of the guys who founded the sport. He's put out a good number of successful fighters too. I don't remember his name but apparently pretty famous in those circles.

even if he is pumping out successful fighters, there is no need to savagely beat on them like that... beatings should come during sparing, not during kicking practice

Maybe the beatings are what makes them good fighters? Its like Banzo's sword... only with more swearing.

Omar is correct.

from my understanding (this was on the board a coupla weeks back) that's tiger mask (can't recall his real name) in a shooto club.

i believe in some body conditioning but i think that's a little too much. there's a difference between a light hit and ponging a guy in the brain with a stick.
