    In a boxing school look for one without needles on the floor in the locker room and fat old guys sitting around on couches smoking cigars.And try to find a club where the owner isn't an ex-con crackhead.

    boxing gyms are consistently good. they are less hit or miss than other martial arts schools. however, you should find a school that has experienced trainers, and good equipment doesn't hurt either (light and heavy bags, a good ring, ect.)
