I'm most likely gonna be at TU for school. I wasn't so much interested in Burnett specifically, just some good grappling. Adams' place sounds like their grappling is just an add-on to the Muay Thai, and Burnett has some ADCC competitors at his place.

I went to TU also - was a Kappa Sigma if you're doing the Greek thing at all. There are several undergrads in the house that fight for Mikey too - Gibb Wingate if you end up going Greek.

We don't do as much grappling/groundfighting as we should at Adams, so if that is your main interest check out where Mikey is or IMAT - Erik Paulsen comes to town a couple times a year and Darrian Whittaker is doing a lot of it now from what I understand.

That's good to hear, I was wondering if there were any/many college students training there, or if it was just locals.

Are you both in Oklahoma? Where do you teach/train?

Very cool. I have a friend that trains in OKC at Sadiq Kali or something like that - I don't know much about his school but I may be down there for a seminar next month. They have a website if you want to check it out (if you don't know anything about it), but I'm not sure what it is - maybe sadiqkali.com?

Next time you're in Tulsa feel free to stop by Adams if you'd like - 81st & Sheriden.

Are any of you Oklahoma people going to watch (or compete in) the K-1 and Pride matches in Tulsa on March 19?

I wasn't aware of K-1 or Pride being in town, but Dale Cook is having some fights on the 19th - maybe that is what you're talking about?

We don't have anyone fighting this time, but have 4 fighters that will be fighting at some point this year.
