I've heard that using weights or weighted gloves changes your punch trajectory due to being used to compensating for holding a heavy weight.
Additionally, I'd recommend Bas Rutten's MMA Workout (it has a tape specifically for boxing) if you've got 50-60$ lying around. Otherwise, I'd do it the cheap way. (http://www.bullshido.net/forums/show...en+mma+workout)
