    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Catch Wrestling vs. Wing Chun

Lets take a moment to examine the similarities to these equally effective combat arts:

They both have dubious, fictitious lineages which are the only real lineage.

They are both non-existant in combat sports competition.

They both teach moves which "will destroy your average grappler"

    Anything else?
Tough is not how you act, tough is how you train.

WC teaches moves that will destroy average grapplers? SWEET. *runs through siu lim tao slowly as grappler tries to take him down, only to find the part of the form that destroys grapplers.*

SIU LIM TAO, Grappler Destruction, 4!

Catch Wrestling started in carnival tents.
    What am I?:

I am ignorant, thieving, lying, hypocrital, violent and thoroughly self obssessed. I steal from others to make myself look better, only to make the item or information worse.

I go on and on and ON about how brave and strong and brilliant and wealthy I am, but in the end I'm all mouth and no trousers.

That's right children, I'm your average AMERICUNT! and I exemplify AMERICA!:911flag:

Yes, through persistent lack of work and the cultivation of ignorance, he is a true American.

Catch wrestling???? Which one. In UK there are several very genuine variations of local wrestling traditions which go by the name 'Catch' and which are very credible in themselves. Lancashire Catch for example. Although not peculiar to that art, its face-bar subs are noteworthy. They are sadly dying out and aren't the be all and end all, but I think that Catch has certain obvious advantages over mainstream arts -the same ones enjoyed by most grappling arts: they spend time DOING their stuff against resisting opponents.

Is there some other catch wrestling you guys are referring to?
You are a total Douchbag. Train more, post nevermore.

Ah awesome, so there's some very few but good Catch schools remaining? That fight against resisting opponents? Just like Wing Chun then, AWESOME!

Hmm.. escapes from standing holds/locks possibly. Please don't tell me that there's groundwork in Chum Kiu or Biu Jee.

    Haha...here I was joking...

WCN, Dude, just apply SLT to the ground, YJKYM on the ground = grapple defense.

What is catch wrestling anyway? I havent heard of it before.

<lies on back, knees together again, executes palm strike up into the air at imaginary opponent>

<lies on back, knees close together as possible, executes bong sau, imagines 300 lb bjj-monster ripping leg off>

    <shakes head again, stands up>
