Oyama fighting bulls
When Mas Oyama fought bulls, did he really fight them or just plain walk up to them and kill them?
I've looked at different kyokushin sites and some of them say that his bovine challenges have been blown up over time.
I tried to find vids of him fighting a bull but all I found was one where he strikes with a knife-hand at the horns of a bull that doesn't look very angry.

Well he was almost killed once so I don't think they were anybody's pets or anything.

Yeah, I've seen those pictures and know he was severely injured once.
But how were the fights arranged? Did he walk up to an unsuspecting bull and start wrestling it or was the bull 'informed'?

Sure the bull signed a waiver releasing Mr Oyama any kind of responsability on its injuries.

I did som research into that as well, and the most credible story I could piece together was that yes; he did fight a bull in some kind of arena. However, it wasn't exactly a bull of the spanish bullfighter killing variety. From what I understand the bull was either doped up, of some kind of inferioir breed, or both. There was also something about the bull's horns being pre-cut. It's difficult to get a coherent story.

My computer is painfully old and can't run the videos so I can't check for sure, but I am pretty sure that there is at very least a quick clip of Oyama against a bul on this site: http://www.kyokushinmail.com/koya/Kyokushin.htm
It was a while back that I saw it, but I think it was a rather small bull (by bull standards) and Oyama forces it by the horns to the ground, establishes a bull kesa mount of sorts and is seen reaching back to chop the horns.
