I will be there...as long as this infection I'm battling is gone (not contagious...just haven't been able to train or lift the past week while the antibiotics do their thing).

My cousin gave me some tapes of him doing tkd. I learned from those tapes. When I beat up an Akido instructor, and made him take rest breaks, I used TKD. I learned Bjj from watching ufc and pride and then I copied them and wrestled my cousin for practice. I choked him out and he tapped.

I talked with him about it briefly. He said he was going, but I'm sure he can speak for himself.

I'm coming. I'll see if my sister wants to go, and if not, I'll hitch a ride with one of you two.
Gringo, are you planning on coming to Gracie Barra Tampa during your visit?

Matt, I'd like to come Friday night for the no-gi session. I think we might have a little cookout at my Grandps house in Clearwater...nothing extravagant...both yourself, sister, and any throwdown participants would be welcome. Most likely bratwurst, cole slaw, baked beans, some burgers, etc.
Dependant upon how we are in our design schedules next week, I may even try and come down Thursday and do a session over at the Tampa Barra. If not, I'm hoping to roll with Rob's advanced class (might as well start my schooling early on Throwdown day).
I'm going to bring all my striking gear...shin guards, gloves, headgear...but are any other strikers coming?

I'll be making the trip from Boca Raton. How long of a drive is this now? Bah, can't be any worse than the drive to Tallahassee.
Gringo, I'd strike with you, but I haven't trained in sustained stand up sparring in years. I'll give it my best shot if you don't mind using me as a punching bag. :)
Can we grapple first though? That would be nice and make me feel a man before being demolished at standup. LOL

Anthony...Boca should be 3 hours....maybe 4 tops from Clearwater.
Also, if anyone from out of town needs a place to stay...my family isn't rich or anything, but we've got 3 houses in Clearwater close to each other and I have already confirmed that we could stay at one of them...pool...high speed intarweb...etc.
All I ask is please PM me if you plan on attending any type of cookout and/or need a place to stay.
