Yeah I'm really paranoid about injury to my knees. I would see a doctor in person right away just incase it is something very serious.
I went to the doctor today and the report goes as follows:
I likely hyperextended my leg, but no serious damage was done. I should wait until wednesday to see how well I continue my healing process and if I am not all better by wednesday I go to the othropedist office where x-rays are done.
So far so good, here's hoping for a quick recovery and no serious damage done.
First use knee pads (Mizuno makes a good one for grappling) they both protect your knees and keep them warmer a warmer knee is harder to injur, as for the grapevine ABANDON IT.... mount high on the chest as to limit his bucking movement's and make him use his arm's more, the more he pushes the more opertunity you have to lock them, if he tries to hook you can use reverse Kimura, mount lightly and ride more but MOUNT HIGH on the chest... and heal up injuries SUCK.. I ripped my bicep off my radius once and it put me out for just over 6 months.. Kris..

Back from the orthropedist. Did my x-ray thing and had a thorough check up. I Lucked out, all good news. Given some stretches and exercises to do to ease into things.
Best advice: "What they, crazy? The guy has physics on his side!" (refering to me going up against some one so much bigger than myself)
