I guess it depends on how well rounded your mix martial arts is Omen stone. If its not well rounded enough then going to a traditional system might be the an answer to fill in the gaps.
The other reason is to simply learn some more techniques tthat isnt found in your mix martial art school.

My Honest opinion: no, don't take any TMA, take MMA imo (also see my above post.)

Hey Osiris **** you.
I wish to ask because the question has a whole never really comes up, not to mention its a raw question not one that was brought up in a thread similar.
I was truly wonder if there is any reason to go to a TMA school that only teach martial arts un mixed. Over a Martial arts school that mixs their styles.
See and I got mixed answers some say yes while others say no but they all generaly agree it can't hurt.
Do you like ruing coversations? you commenting about me trolling or being a dumdass doesn't really help it just turns **** into a arguement and personal attacks.
As for Mercurius I simply asked because reading 40 threads trying to find the answer seem somewhat of a waste of time considering I could just asked get about 20 or so responses and let it drop to the 5th page.

I suppose the quality of the instruction might be a reason...Is there a reason to go to a TMA school over a school that teachs Mix styles?
IMO this whole subject, as often as it's asked and repeated in different forms, is very strange.
Is a punch more of a punch because the puncher is wearing boxing shorts? Is a kick or a trap ineffective because the fighter trained using a gi? -
