Yeah, I couldn't figure out how so many of Mirko's left hand leads (from southpaw) got through. Is Coleman just that slow in comparison? I know he was looking to shoot, but he still seemed to be just watching those punches come in. The last series of shots Coleman was obviously just trying out the duck-and-cover defence, but he didn't seem to block/parry much of what he got thrown at any point.

Coleman doesn't like to get hit, he has a "suspect jaw".
His strike defense sucks and he is an arm puncher.
The only thing Mirko had to worry about was being taken down.

Speaking of kicking and stomping a downed opponent ...

    MINOR SPOILER

... did you see the Ninja fight? Kanehara (sp, etc.) is in for arough morning tomorrow. You'd think the Japanese promoters would stop throwing out locals with no discernible talent.

Alright, Coleman isn't exactly a top fighter anymore but CroCop still impressed me. He looked disciplined and implemented a well thought out strategy. That sprawl of his was just.. wow. I'd love to see him fight Nog again, or even better, Fedor.
I pointed at him [the panhandler], bringing my rear hand up in a subtle approximation of the double Wu Sau guard that is the default hand position in Wing Chun Kung Fu.

    "Step away," I hissed.

After watching Kharitanov's fight, I'm thinking I'd like to see him and CroCop go at it with the winner facing Fedor.

    CroCop totally outclassed coleman...

I wish coleman had just left the ring repectably in the end, instead of picking up the mic and rambling on about how he was never going to give up... to a near silent crowd... 'i know i got a lotta work to do... but i'm not giving up... i'l be back''' mumble grumble...' *crowd gets up and starts to leave* 'im never giving up! he was the toughest guy I ever fought but I'll be back... did i mention i am never giving up.... helloooooo'

then he kind of let the mic slip out of his hand and onto the canvas and staggered round the ring shaking his head. quite sad to watch, he should have just bowed and left.

    CroCop is officially awesome.

His words .. "Emilianenko Fedor... YOU ARE NEXT."

    That's gonna be awesome.

Coleman looked like ****. He was way too scared of Mirko's striking and wound up shooting in from way too far out.
You say what about my rice?
