its not that black and white. to a certain extent, school > style. But there are some styles that are just inferior. But let's not get off topic, there are plenty of school vs style threads. So back to the real question: can Sin The melt a baby?

No, but he says his old sand-burn teacher can.

Would anyone in the Shaolin Do organization be able to exhibit this unique skill? If they can, James Randi has a $1,000,000 challenge. Hmmm, by successfully recruiting and representing the challenger in their pre-test negotiations with Randi, I think you could legitimately charge a hefty legal fee. (For example charging your customary hourly fee for flying to NYC). So Judge, how would you like to produce a baby melter? I'm sure he could perform his talents legally in front of Randi by melting a pig.

No one in the art claims to be able to do this.

But the question is can ANYONE do this, i.e. was this ever possible? If it was possible then Sin could have seen this happen. If not he's a liar.

Basically, if one man can do something, someone else out there can replicate the feat. If Sin was promised a cut, (say $10,000) I'm sure he could make a couple phone calls and find the best sand burn teacher in Indonesia who could then melt porky for gobs of cash. Can't you guys ask him? If such an effort were successful it would certainly shut up doubters like myself.

As stated, I do not believe the story either; nor do I believe it was intended to be taken as anything except a tale. No, the laws of physics indicate this is highly improbable to the statistical equivalent of impossible. I do not speak for GM The; I have not really had any interaction with him and in all honesty, as such, am not qualified to comment on his character. I can only judge his worth by the quality of his MA (I have only seen him move a couple times and was impressed) and the quality of the instructors and martial artists he has produced in my sifu and his teacher.

So when he told a roomful of students this account during the filming of his DVD,

    1) They all knew he was kidding, (somehow)

    and

    2) The fact that he claimed to have seen this was not to add crediability to the account but was part of the gag.
