Looks like a TKD school that picked up a couple Judo and Aikido books. Funky uniform, hands down in "shoot lasers at you" position. Stay away.

Just read your other thread "training dillema" and if that didn't answer it and you aren't much of a ma or brawler, go to the local red neck or biker type bar and buy a tough looking guy and his friends a beer and tell them that you want to know if a martial arts school is bullshit and see if any of them want to go and check out. And see if it actually works-we had a biker come in and do this and sensei put on mouth guard and gloves and they got it on, if it's grandma teaching the art give her a break on the violence, otherwise go for it.

Seriously though. I have seen a kyuki do school bring competitors down from their school in Sioux Falls, SD. I remember last year a kid from there who couldn't have been more than 8 or 9 years-old was wearing a black belt.

I just dont get it, she opened up a school after only 2 or 3 years or training damn that is fast as hell. She claims she has 5years or training in that art. WoW

My brother's friend does this, it's a korean special forces style I was told. He's a former swat captain, so I'm assuming that he wouldn't train in it if it was bullshit.

GM Kim, who heads this system is out of Aurora, Il near my place. I haven't heard much about him, but I will ask my GM to see what he knows about him. I have a couple of friends who take this and they seem to enjoy it.
