    Yeah, that's what my instructor does too.
    You're virtually guaranteed to place in many of the smaller tournaments in Master's brackets though. I guess that's nice if you really want shiny baubles.

    I know a lot of "Masters" who compete in Adult since they don't like fighting in the "old man" division.

    I still compete ADULTO as well eventhough under CBJJ rules I am a MASTER. I have to let them young whippersnappers that I can still hang.:new_black
    Using the term Master for age instead of knowledge is going to be hard for me to get use to.
    Don't get hung up on it. Alot of sports use the term MASTERS to denote an elder age group.
