    Northern Mantis vs Wing Chun

I couldn't find this through the search engine, so hopefully it hasn't been posted before.

    http://users.1st.net/abaddon/kfo/wcvsmantissparring.wmv

The black guy is the Northern Mantis practitioner, the white guy is the Wing Chun practitioner. It's supposedly "full contact", but as you'll see not really. What I really didn't like was how whenever the WC guy would take down the NM guy to the ground, you'd hear someone call for a break instead of letting them go at it on the ground. Lame.

I agree, to be honest. The WC guy was pretty sloppy actually, but at least he tried to take the other guy down.

that was crap not one punch was landed cleanly.both of them were afraid to get hit and if one had actually uloaded the other would have gone done like a 2 dollar whore. ive seen middle school kids fight with more courage than these 2 guys.
    Eduardo "Why'd you stop."

Me "I was kicked in the head by the guys sparring next to me."

Eduardo "Ino what happened but i didnt say you could stop."

Me "Um.. I guess I keep going."

Eduardo "You dont stop until i say stop, you dont get tired until i say your tired, keep going."

OMG they look like they are sissyfighting in the first clash! :color:

I like how the camera fades into an edit point, probably omitting 5 minutes of them circling and slapping at each other's lead hand.

But it is the fault of skeptics that kung fu in general and WC specifically don't get a lot of respect online.

On a high note: nice shiny pants.
