    Regarding Laimon's "head throw" comment - it's a really risky move. In Judo, you don't care if someone takes your back after you've thrown him hard, 'cause the match is over by then, and even if it's not, you don't get penalized for having your back taken (massive flaw in the judo rules IMO). In MMA or even sub grappling, it can be disastrous. In my very first sub grappling tourney, I won two fights because people tried that throw on me. And if I remember, in that scene in TUF, the guy who went for the throw got countered and had his back taken.

    Karo's throw is great, except for his own ukemi (ouch). I'd say it's an o soto gari attempt that turns out a harai goshi.
