Y'know, I've often wondered about those jumping, flipping kicks. They look cool, and would likely work on me the first time I ever see one thrown...but has anyone ever actually faced one before? How do you counter/expect that? I mean, they're fully committed to a kick like that, but it's pretty fast....I'm trying to imagine how you'd defend that except to (obviously) move.

Bullshit you'd just step aside or block it.

You're already staggering or trying to regain positioning or balance and you're somehow supposed to be able to side step that? Might happen indepentently, but he set his opponent up for it perfectly.

A lot of the silly frilly kicks and techniques aren't meant to be used independently (obviously since they're easier to block) but used as follow ups from outside of normal range.

Of course as Asia said you can go and tell all the MT fighters that you should never kick to the head.

At least I know I suck, sometimes I think everyone here thinks they're Musashi reincarnated.

I had something to contribute but the pink elephant hyptonized me.

Time to go back to staring at it.

Been Jumped Kicked on the head before, I was surprised somebody actually tried it, it doesn't feel like anything. When he landed I just used a sweep.
