80 lbs. is way to much for anyone with 6 months of training in almost anything to deal with. You sprawled on him, an appropriate counter from wrestling, even if you didn't realize that's a wrestling move. Your higher weight and superior position, coupled with only 6 months of training by the other guy, let you dominate him.

I'm sure the fact that you didn't beat the **** out of him because you are friends helped too.

This is exactly the kind of situation that grappling works well in. Instead of beating the **** out of him, you simply subdued him until the tempers (and stamina) burned out.

Punching him may have worked better or worse, but it's hard to stay friends with someone who has broken your nose or jaw.

You have indeed done EXACTLY what you should have done. Good job

...........no need for him to be a jackass to his "friends"........

Mr. DP-Joint locks+ pressure points would work also. To an extent.......

Yes, they would (although I'm skeptical on pressure points).

Apparently he didn't need them in this situation.

    :)

yeah i agree with just sitting on the guy letting him tire himself out, but that wouldn't work for me, me being 120lbs lighter than our friend SuckaMC here

Once I have to control a 210 lbs friend on drug.... it was no fun, I wrestled him to ground and put a choke on him until he pass out then repeat it until he calm down and end up with raw elbows.

I would pick bag work over masturbating, fighting over sex, and KOing someone over having a orgasm!

No need to get pissy IGiveBJJ. :)

80lbs weight and 4 inches in height is going to be
    a challenge for most people.

Someone with only 6 months experience is likely to get slaughtered.

    6'1 260 ? Damn you're a big bastard.

    To quote myself.

"Not bashing because I'm sure that he isn't a fair representation of the average to good BJJ practitioner but I thought I'd tell my story."

Oh and the TKD club I'm a member of is Dan Shi. The webpage can be found here. http://eric.willeke.com/ My name is Tim Owens.

Edit: As an update we went and played some pool tonight, split a couple beers, and talked **** out.

Ah but rellik you have many that will tell you SIZE DOESN'T MATTER!!! Therefore 80lbs should be nothing to the average BJJer.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
Until someone's big fat ass is sitting on top of them..... :-)
