Do you really think it is impossible? We have had a lot of people come in and spar with us and they have all been impressed.

    You mean like this?

"Wow, you have such soft hands! Do you moisturise?"

To which the answer would be of course:

    "No, just chi sau"

Yes, I think it is impossible for a WC guy to beat an experienced Judo guy in a grappling competition using only WC. That is my official belief.

Clueless newbies will be impressed with anything.

Anyway, I was talking to my Sifu in class tonight (WC baby! Woot!) and he was telling me about some form of grappling that was a derivative of WC that was used to beat a French Judo guy in a Lei Tei competition. Does anyone have anymore info on that?
"Some for of grappling derived from WC" and "Judo guy" kinda imply that you are talking about grappling. If not a grappling comp, then what was it? If it was pure striking... well, I'd still bet on the Judo guy over the WC guy, but it's possible the WC guy could have won.

OK, before you post, go read what type of competition it is. You are looking as stupid as the WC people.
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.
