WC Defeats Judo?!?

Hey all. I know stfu up noob and what not. Long time lurker first time poster...etc.
Anyway, I was talking to my Sifu in class tonight (WC baby! Woot!) and he was telling me about some form of grappling that was a derivative of WC that was used to beat a French Judo guy in a Lei Tei competition. Does anyone have anymore info on that?

No, because it didn't happen. Deriving grappling from WC would be like deriving grappling from Boxing or deriving a striking art from wrestling.

Besides, "some form", "a french judo guy" and "a Lei Tei competition" is a VERY vague description. So vague that it could have been made up.

And even if it's true, if your Sifu only has 1 example of this "style" working, then it sucks.

How is not knowing about some way girls in in some martial art I have never done do anything with rational thought?

It means that because there's a lack of specific details in your sifu's story (ie. "French Judo Guy" instead of say "Michal Vial", "A Lei Tei Competition" instead of something like "Singapore Open 1988") that it could have been pulled out of your sifu's ass at the moment.

And even if it's true, if your Sifu only has 1 example of this "style" working, then it sucks."

It means that if one example of this "style" working exists then there's a likely chance it sucks due to a lack of consistency. Even the sun shines on a dog's ass once in awhile.

I don't think my instructor would lie about it. Is it impossible for WC to defeat some martial art that sounds like something they sell in NY with Cream Cheese? Didn't know my style was on trial. WC is a complete style that when practiced properly has grappling inside of it.
I am only repeating what I heard about the tournament. I was asking for more information.
