As for the calves, well, no other exercise hits the calves
I've always gone up to tipytoes with T-barDeadlifts, squats, sleds etc.
Is that a bad idea? I've never done it where it seemed dangerous, just made compound movements more compound.

Never tried. I can imagine myself easily losing balance like that towards the end of the set, though.

Never done tip toe work when I do my stuff ( other than calf raises of course), never thought about going on my tippy toes when doing them, just never occured to me to be honest.

Okay to be honest on squats and the t-bar deadlifts I can't do them at the end of a set, they're already well burned by then though.

Anyone have the captains of crush grippers?

I'm looking to get a pair of the No.1's.

    This costs over $200.00

    This costs $10.00...

You plant your palm on the catch bars of a squat rack, and curl your fingers around the pipe. Cable wraps around plates/dumbells. Perform reps, or static hold while weight dangles.

And when the workout's done, it converts easily into drug paraphenelia.
