    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Arm-bar escapes...

Ok, I keep getting Arm-bar'd no matter what I do?

Any suggestions to avoid this? It seems no matter what position I'm in, I have to tap to one.

    There's a reason it's called a submission.

Don't get in an armbar in the first place.

    1. Stretch out free arm with palm facing down.
    2. Slap floor with palm in vigorous motion.
    3. Raise arm off floor.
    4. Repeat steps 2 & 3.

Seriously, the best thing I've found is to grab your own wrist and make sure your arm stays bent. Stack if you can. Not that I'm anything of an expert.

Hmm, how to explain this. No matter where my arms are positioned, they always manage to slap one on me. I mean I don't keep my arm locked or straight either.

I tried the double arm grab, they find a way to break it.

    Stack?

Your a newbie to BJJ correct? You will be getting tapped in this fashion for a very long time! Get used to it and don't worry. You will learn counters and eventually you won't be the class bitch on the receiving end of armbars. However, you will still get caught later by purples, browns and blacks so it never ends. It just happens with a lot less regularity.

For every counter there is a counter in which there is another counter.
