    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Any simple escapes?

I know very little about grappling, as I train TKD (see profile).

What are some simple ways to escape the top mount? As I only watch grappling arts on my UFC/KOTC/Pride videos, and have only a rudimentary knowledge, I am missing how guys on the bottom escape when they are top mounted.

I don't think mindlessly flaying my limbs around would help, as that's about all I can think of!!! Do you try to fight your way to a guard position (what the???) or miraculously bridge out (how the???).

What if the guy is a wrestling beast and pounding away? Covering up only delays your demise. You've got to get the heck out of there!!

Go to a grappling school, since you'll never be able to apply anything against an experienced grappler just by reading what we tell you to do.

Ask your teacher what he says and if doesn't say what that quote said or something like " if a JJ person gets a hold of you your pretty much done." I would hold suspect of what else he's told you

Bridge, trap one arm/leg, and roll. Practice repeatedly.

EDIT: It works against the other TKD practitioners :eusa_shif
