I am not sure if I know anything about shoot fighting. But I do know a bit about shoot Wrestling. It mainly start with strikes then suddnely change your focus onto take down and putting your opponent in submission hold. I don't think a lot street fighter could last long against shoot fighter especially when they are very capable of tricking street fighter and getting them into a joint destcutiving hold quickly.

Personally, I perfer shoot wrestling over many grappling and ground fighting. But not everyone will agree with me. I thinks Dan Instanto's academy is the only place that teach Shoot Wrestling.
