    The Ultimate Fighter 2nd Episode

Well, if no one else is going to start the thread, here goes nothing. . .
"I had once talked to Billy Conn, the boxer, about professionals versus amateurs - specifically street fighters. One had always heard rumors of champions being taken out by back-alley fighters. Conn was scornful. "Aw, it's like hitting a girl," he said. "They're nothing."

2nd episode of ultimate fighter sucked nads

Excuse me? Coaches elimination?!?!?! What the **** bullshit was that?

I hope that's the last time it goes down like that. I don't watch Survivor, why would I want to watch a bunch of guys humping Randy Couture in a Barcalounger down the beach?

What was that all about?! Pathetic.
I would liken it to the boxing or the muay thai of internal kung fu, even though that's like calling apples the oranges of the apple world. --WalkOn

    Ultimate Fighter Second Episode

Really not much to say about this one...

way too much reality bull ****, all that drama and no training or fighting makes ultimate fighter a dull show..

Looks like it will be better next week. Somebody will actually fight in the octagon.

I wonder if keeping leben was influenced more by his status on team quest, or by pressure from the producers.

Why did I feel like I was watching survivor with a couple of cool scenes thrown in? Thanks for ruining a great concept with typical reality BS!

Whoops! Like all good ideas, everyone had it at the same time. Sorry 'bout that.

Yeah, that episode was pretty disappointing. Started well, with the training footage, but three things bugged me:

    1) The drinking. Who thought stocking that house with a full bar was a good idea? Thank god they probably made those guys sign contracts not to fight in the house or there would be a couple of drunken brawls by now. Besides, who the hell drinks while training for a shot at a 300,000 dollar UFC contract? Insanity!

    2) The stupid team events. Over at the Underground, they are already referring to this show as 'The Ultimate Lumberjack'. 'Nuff said.

    3) As if the entire sport of grappling didn't have enough of a 'ghey' reputation, now we have these guys walking around in snakeskin speedos. I know they were just fucking around but jesus, talk about reinforcing certain stereotypes. . .

I really hope they have some fights next week. . .

    I gotta disagree.
We all gotta realise that WE all wanna see MMA fighting. But the average hammerhead doesn't care about fights unless he cares about the fighters.I feel like now we are starting to know who's who beyond just Leben and the guy with the bad teeth.
And in the next episode we got fights.
