Yeah, he was a little open for how good he's gonna have to be on D to keep from getting blown away by people with longer arms.
The tall kid didn't seem ring-ready to me...not to take anything away from anybody in that ring, it was a tough fight. It's nice to see MMA at some lighter weights. . .

New York MMA Examiner Style: magic FUCKING powers!
His hooks to the head left him open. I got to say though, they were some mean hits. I consider my primary to be boxing and I wish I had a hook that powerful. I think the bigger weakness was how far he dropped his non-attacking hand when he threw the swing, rather than how wide it was. It left him needlessly open to a counter punch. (I mean in the first two punches. Obviously he was using his non-attacking hand after that.)
With more discipline in his stand up I bet he could be pretty mean.
