Crossing the arm in triangle chokes

I think you should cross the arm for completeness., If someone triangles me and they don't cross my arm it allows me to brace their hip to keep it from working well. At that point I usually have about a 80% chance (depending on skill level) of surviving long enough to get out of it either by stacking them or using my bracing arm as a pivot to spin my leg around and break the triangle.

Today I will be purposely leaving the arm uncrossed to get the combo triangle/americana/wristlock.
