As an update: looks like it's been healing pretty well as when I went to the orthopedic surgeon he says it's in a lot better shape and that no surgery is needed. I just need to take it easy and still can't spar for a while (dammit!), take some Motrin throughout the day and a Flexoral at night, then just exercise it after I heat it up and it'll be all good :thumbsup:

Massage therapy offers some good techniques to deall with the muscle tension and pain that often result (or contribute to) from TMJ disfunction. (I teach massage therapy)
