I have a box of oatmeal, not instant, the kind you make in a pot.
I was gonna pick up a few things that I think and know go well in oatmeal:
What I wanna know is what other things do people put in oatmeal?

I mix oatmeal into my morning gunpowder now and then.
I've heard people preach the wonders of vanilla in oatmeal, but I haven't tried. You could probably emulate those oatmeal bars, and use things like marshmellows and chocolate, although I'm not sure how well all their recipes would convert into nonbarred oatmeal, nor are marshmellows and chocolate what I think when I hear "healthy".

The list you got there pretty much covers everything I would put in.
However, if I have a taste for ramen, I'll cook the oatmeal extra chewy and put in some garlic teriyaki.

Bananas, apples, probably a variety of fresh fruits. I wonder if cranberries would be similar to raisins in oatmeal. I've used almonds, but haven't tried walnuts.
The end comes... beyond chaos.

Protein powder, eh? I'll have to try that.
I put banana slices in mine. And a little brown sugar and cinnamon if I'm having the kind you are (non instant, otherwise it already comes in that flavour).

Maple Syrup + Brown Sugar is my current favorite.
Apples (finely chopped) coated in cinnamon or cinnamon sugar are also quite tasty.
Although I haven't tried I would guess that flavored syrups or other fruits (maybe blue berries) would be pretty good.

Protein powder and a couple drops of peppermint. I'm a mint freak.
You're just JEALOUS!
