Style: hard work--
I find that when I work out or play sports while sick - I feel really good when I get moving and crack a sweat. But when I stop and cool down I crash rather hard and I am really drained for the rest of the day.
On a positive note: Over the holidays I drank too much, ate too much, smoked and hardly worked out at all. The good thing is now that I am back at it I have found an increase in strength although my weight did not go up. I guess I really needed an extra rest. -

Regardless of my health, I'm fairly anal about not missing workouts, it's what keep me sane. It tends to make me sicker, longer, but life happens. In terms of class while I'm sick, hell no. Making myself sick is one thing, sharing it with other people is a totally different ball game that I don't play.
The only thing that I'm particularly careful about with when I'm sick is running outside when it's cold. I dislike running in the cold to start with, and doing it sick makes my nice race-against-myself-up-the-asscrack-of-dawn a helluva lot less fun. The calisthenics pretty much don't change. Probably not the best thing for my health, though. You're just JEALOUS! -

Gosh, I wouldn´t train when I´ve got the flu.
My body temperature is usualyy 36,5 º C, if I´m about 37,5º C I can barelly stand up, at 38º I can´t even walk and at 39º I´m begging for someone to put an end to my life, so training? If I can attend my work that´s the only thing I´ll do.
And yes, have in mind that you may pass your illness to everybody in the gym.
Rest and go training when you´re ok again.
Oh and under such circumstances the risk for injury, even if you´re in a lighter routine may be higher. -

when i'm sick i only do qigong and yoga and sleep a few hours more. if its really bad i eat some ginger.
normally, a sickness lasts only 1 or 2 days for me. sometimes just a night in which i feel like **** with fever, the shakes etc. but in the morning i'm totally healthy.
train if you feel like it, rest if if you feel like it.
