The more I do grappling, the more I like the kimura...that move is what I use for 60% of the time for subs.
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.

Against someone untrained in submission (or untrained in general) or against a submission fighter?

    Against someone untrained:
    guillotine or rear naked choke.

Decapitation is the best submission. Works 100% of the time. Remember, LAWPILOT says, "They ain't dead until you remove the head".

I am not a big fan of the guillotine choke, last I tried that and got punched in the nut straight away. Needless to say it hurt like a bitch but thanks to my adreneline I was able to still maintain some neck control and proceed to knee the crap out of his face. You can probably choke the **** out of someone with that but since his limbs are often still mobile, it makes it quite risky and unless you can sink in the choke damn fast, it's probably one of the least difficult submission to get out of.

My vote has to go to an armbar from the top and a sleeper hold, preferably from stand up position. Seem like the least risky moves, especially the stand-up sleeper hold.

Armbars are pretty common, I love pulling one off..when you fall back & feel that you've got their arm just right..it's so nice..
However, lately I've been working on my sleeve choke (ezekiel) sp? choke. I love this choke, you can do it from someones gaurd, or when you have someone in your gaurd,...or even from side control..

feels nice? depends on where you put their arm right? ok i'm sick
yes i know there are many types of armbars

knee locks, according to a hapkido book i'm reading, takes a little more time to generate pain and by that time, damage to the knee will have occured, so i don't think knee is the way to go
