Looks like he really worked on his overhand punch -> takedown combo.

This way, if the punch lands - it's all good, and if it doesn't you have all the forward momentum you want, untelegraphed, and go into a takedown. I'm gonna need to work on that one of these days.

Pretty good for "the fat Tito Ortiz."
I pointed at him [the panhandler], bringing my rear hand up in a subtle approximation of the double Wu Sau guard that is the default hand position in Wing Chun Kung Fu.

    "Step away," I hissed.

In the first one he almost has the front headloack clinch. Too bad he didn't keep it; I bet he could have knocked Nogueira out from there.

I think his gameplan was to toss Mino around and frustrate him as much as possible in the first 5 minutes or so, and then go for the knockout in the remainder of the first and the second round.

Thats a simple belly to belly throw. It doesnt surprise me you'd be impressed with it.

Secondly, he only gets the clinch because his last punch missed wildly and Nog never even moved his feet.

    Watch the video.

Sorry just not impressed with the guy. I think we could all name alot of people that would eat him alive if they were his size.

I hope you realize how pointless it is to argue how people would do against Fedor if they were a different size than they really are.

On that note, would Giant Silva beat him, Peedee? How about Sapp?

Peedee, Fedor's not that big for a heayweight. You keep forgetting that.
