I agree with lawpilot BJJ is much better thank judo in my opinion ive done both and judo seems like a weaker version of bjj! and everyone knows if the ref didnt stop that fight with royce and that judo guy that royce would have got out of it he always does!!!!

Don't duck JUMP. BJJ guys always lay down on the ground if you jump up in the air they won't know how to handle you.

BJJ and Judo are on the same level as far as striking is concerned. Judo's striking is basic and nothing to shout about. So is BJJ's striking, great example look how lame Royce's striking is.

Judo is far superior on standing grappling than BJJ and the reverse is true on the ground. (Although I would put Kosen Judo on the same level as BJJ (BJJ is slightly better)but I don't know of any Kosen Judo clubs in the states.)
